Hellooooo August! Currently Link Up!

Well, I guess it's OFFICIALLY official.  There's no escaping, hiding, dodging for just a few more days. It's here. August. *waves not too sincerely*

This past week has been taking care of appointments that truly can only be done during one's time off.  Next week, having appointments to prep oneself for the upcoming start of a new year [read: beauty escapades]

As we AAAALLL know, even before actually getting down and dirty, what's going on in the undercurrent of our mind for the new year are (a) things we MUST do; (b) things we've seen/pinned/downloaded/old school note-taken...errrr, note-took? You get the gist; and (c) things we want to change. Now it's time to get down and dirty. So, I have a little teensy bit over 2 weeks before all systems are a GO and the race to that finish ( "finish" HA! ) line begins OFFICIALLY tomorrow.  Putting all those things in their rightful places, so to speak.

BUT . . . RIGHT NOW I'm linking up with Farley from Oh Boy Fourth Grade to do Currently for August.

So head over to Farley's blog and linky up!  She also has an amazing giveaway!

  1. I can so relate to your frame of mind. So much to do and so little time. Somehow it all gets done and the things that aren't finished seem to be less important when it is all said and done. Your blog is "a good read". Have a great school year.

  2. So not ready for summer to be over either. I'm holding on to summer like my littles death grips on their mamas at the door on first day of school. Enjoyed reading your post. When do you return? We start back in September.

    1. That is the perfect analogy for not letting go of summer! You've got more time than I :) First mandatory day - Aug. 17. Yay. Ha ha! Have a wonderful year!

  3. I'm in the process of changing my mindset from summer to BTS. It's time to scan through my Pinterest Boards, buy all the things on my TpT wishlist, and start wrapping my head around the upcoming school year.

I hope you have a great school year!

  4. Oh I can totally relate to your thinking one! I am changing grades to 3rd, the one grade in 2nd-5th I've never had, so my mind is always going and going with all of the things I need/want to change, find, etc. Its probably a good thing my husband can't see inside my brain lol
