Happy 2013!

Ah...the first day of the new year...so refreshing!  A new start!  A clean slate!  I love it!

Is it just me or does it feel like a Sunday?  All New Year's Days seem to feel that way for me.

A little nippy and partly clear in this neck of the woods, the sun peeks through every so often.'

My brain is SO NOT ready to go back.  Granted I have the rest of the week off (hugs and boos for those who had to go back this week...what is THAT about??  I mean really!) but I have appointments this week and on Thursday is a meeting day, granted it's optional but we get extra dough for going so who's gonna pass that up, especially when I'd have to get my brain in gear anyway.  Just seems like it's gone already.  Okay, I really shouldn't gripe.  Most folks don't get this.

I don't have anything teaching related but I am linking up with Farley from Oh' Boy Fourth Grade for this month's Currently...

    Hi! I found you through the Currently linky! I know what you mean about the day of the week...I'm so confused about what day it is! I even had to look on my school website to check what day I go back (Thursday)...lucky you still having extra time!

      Welcome, Cheryl! I actually go back tomorrow (Thursday) as well but it was optional...and it's PD...I hope to get room work done as it will be my only day to do so. But I am really feeling the mental "meh" about going back...I love my job but I also love time off :)
