Tell All Tuesday: Summer Recharge

Well, hello there, my friends!!

It's been a long time . . . too darn long!! Holy moly!

Not sure if you y'all remember how it looked before but gave my blog a little makeover . . . just a little change to brighten it up a bit.

I've been keeping my eyes open for a linky party to back myself back into the water of my blog pool.  Currently with Farley from Oh Boy...it's Farley is no more! Gasps and shocks abound!  I know!!  Granted, it's been a bit since the *sniff* final Currently but I didn't know that since, well . . . yeah.  You get the idea.

I have a feeling I am tardy to this party.  Perfect!

This summer bash is being hosted by Diana from My Day in K and Jayme from TeachTalkInspire.  The theme?  Summer Recharge!

I still have a few weeks - I will NOT quantify it yet *shudder* - and I'm trying to squeeeeeeze out as much relaxing, recharging, rejuvenating and renewing as I can.  I can't stop my brain thinking new work ideas, lessons, etc. but I can do it in a casual, relaxed manner.

Some of the my favorite things to do in the summa' time to recharge are . . .

I love love love summer nights! *cue Sandy and Danny* There is just something about these evenings...the way the air feels and smells. The atmosphere is relaxed.  Taking a nice stroll alone with my tunes or with the Mister is soooo nice. Ahhhhh . . . 

I also enjoy some lazy times of watching movies or favorite series.  One summer it was Castle . . . this summer has been movies (love the Redbox).  We were going to rewatch one of the best shows ever Lost but times got away from us this summer.

And create.  That's a loaded word for me since I use it to refer to creating or revamping things in my teaching/management/room environment.  In addition to that, I also "created" (heh) a Facebook page & Instagram for my blog.  Haven't got a post on the FB yet. Slow and steady, right? Ugh.  I also came up with some ideas for TPT so that's another plus  :)
