Goodies and Guilty Pleasures

Sometimes those two are synonymous, no?

I finally have something real to post...some of the goodies I've found shopping.  Whenever I'm in Target, Walmart, any store really, I like to take a peek-see and see hmm...what do they have for me and my classroom?  So, being the time of year that it is, I've naturally found fun stuffs! Many of you have seen and/or bought these items but I'm still gonna share!

Above, you'll see goodies from both Walmart and Target.  Notice the pocket charts?  Every year so far, I've bought some.  I just have to..you just never know!  They have purple, too, but it doesn't go with my room so...sigh...I put it back (with thoughts of but this is the first time I've seen purple here...will I regret it, it's just a buck! Eh, whatever LOL)  The black and white things are magazine file boxes that I will cover with what I like. The prints available did not suit me so I'll fix 'em up real nice.  Walmart had more selection of things overall and cheaper..all of it was 88 cents!  I thought of some of you...they have lots of cupcake and owl stuff there :)   I'm sorry I cannot remember where I got the little apple timer...it may have been Target.  I'll find out...it was only $3 and pretty darn loud at that!

Also found cute banners!

Of course they have their school supplies on sale at craaaaazy prices...I bought 3-prong pocket folders for their homework folders this year.  I had a homework folder lamination fiasco last school year and I won't do that again...I've got other plans to get my info into that folder which I'll share once I put it together ;)

Next are items from the Dollar Tree...

I've seen cuter All About Me posters here in bloggy-land made by you fabulous teachers...but just in case I forget where I've seen them or what-have-you...I purchased them.  Also, really big coins that I plan on laminating and attaching magnets to use when teaching money.

It's fun, but exhausting, doing this stuff.  Plus my mind is filled up with ideas doing Nascar-type laps in my head...just gotta grab onto what I can!

And now...for Guilty Pleasures. Hee hee.

Ashley over at The Resource Room Teacher is having a What's Your Guilty Pleasure? Linky Party!  Sounds fun! *deep breaths* No judging... :p

1. Baked Hot Cheetos

These actually make me feel truly guilty since I know they are not good for you.  I actually like the regular more unhealthy version too but these make me feel less guilty...half the fat (and a different yet still yummy flavor. Mmmm..

2. Coffee...with French Vanilla or Hazelnut Creamer

I know you're thinking, pfft. That's not a guilty pleasure!  But when you have been asked if you want coffee with your creamer, then I think me listing that becomes more clear.  I'm doing much better though with having less creamer in my coffee.  I just can NOT do straight black coffee. Eesh.

*Ironic that there was a photo of the 2 best creamer flavors in one shot...

3. Some "reality" shows...

...as well as the talent shows So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol (although it's getting less fun for me now :/ )  But I don't really feel guilty watching the talent shows. I'm sure no one does :D

I guess that's it.  Sorry if it wasn't mouth-watering, jaw-dropping, juicy, something-you-gotta-tell-your-friends about...but it is fun nonetheless!  Click and join in!

  3. I definitely love my creamer as well! I was a huge fan of french vanilla for a while, but I think I made myself sick of it. My new addiction is International Delight's Coldstone Creamery "Sweet Cream" flavor. Oh my, it's delicious (and not too sweet!). I have 2 bottles of it in my refrigerator at the moment.

Thanks so much for linking up!
